2009 Champion of Financial Literacy Award

The 2009 Champion of Financial Literacy Award was awarded to the Florida Prosperity Initiatives for its commitment to providing financial literacy throughout the state and their efforts in forming the Florida Prosperity Partnership (FPP).

The FPP, evolved from a number of parallel and earlier efforts to create a statewide coalition dedicated to building financial assets for low-to-moderate income residents. In the fall of 2008, the FPP became a formal entity.
